Balancing Blood Sugars

Happy Blood Sugars

Do you sometimes feel shaky, tired or irritable when food is delayed?

Or do you regularly crave sweet and fat rich foods such as cakes, pastries or cookies?

If yes, your blood sugar metabolism may be imbalanced and need attention. Sugar rich and fat rich foods can cause difficulties as your liver and pancreas strain to do their job. As digestion and metabolism become impaired cell nutrition is lessened and impurities increase resulting in blood sugar disorders, fatigue, increased inflammation and mental dullness or irritability. It’s not much fun!

Restoring balance to the digestive system for healthy blood sugar levels becomes very important while reducing the dependency your body has on sugar rich foods.

3 Step Plan for restoring balance

Restoring and maintaining healthy blood sugar balance can help connect you once again with a vibrant state of inner and outer well-being.

Step 1
Favour whole foods, freshly made according to appetite and exercise levels. Eat at regular intervals and aim to be hungry at these times. Support your body’s ability to process food most efficiently by eating your largest meal at lunchtime when digestive power is at it’s peak. Be sure to include healthy oils and fats in your meals along with adequate levels of proteins and plenty of vegetables and fruits. Choose small portions of grains from your dosha balancing food list:

Vata foods
Pitta foods
Kapha foods

Step 2
Take Gluco-Balance tablets to strengthen sugar and fat metabolism and help regulate and protect liver function. Add Digest Tone for a high quality antioxidant that also supports digestion, assimilation, healthy cholesterol levels, cardiovascular health and blood pressure balance.

Drink Be-Trim tea to reduce cravings and curb snacking. Then top it off by sprinkling tasty and warming Kapha Churna over your food or in your cooking and see how it aids your digeston.

  • Gluco-Balance Take 1-2 tablets twice daily with water before meals. Increase dose every 4th day until a good response is experienced, up to a maximum of 2 tablets 4 times daily.
  • Digest Tone Take 1 tablet prior breakfast and lunch and 2 tablets prior evening meal.
  • Kapha Churna Sprinkle this stimulating spice mixture on your sandwich, in your soup or use in your cooking at home. Tastes great and supports a quicker, lighter digestion after the meal.
  • Drink Be-Trim tea Say goodbye to those false feelings of hunger. Be Trim Tea is a pleasant, natural way to help balance fat and sugar metabolism and curb snack cravings day or night.

Step 3

Be active most days for 30 minutes or more at a moderate intensity. Consider what physical activity you enjoy and make it part of a regular routine of life.

Think about how to make being active most days an easy part of your life (choose the stairs instead of the elevator; at the supermarket leave your car in the farthest corner of the car park!)

Wishing you the balance of healthy blood sugar metabolism.
