A clean mouth and fresh breath...
As children we were taught to religiously clean our teeth. But what about oral hygiene in general? Keeping the tongue clean is as important as brushing the teeth -something many cultures have known about for thousands of years.
Have you noticed some mornings there is a coating on your tongue?
According to Ayurveda this can indicate a build-up of toxins in the system often as a result of incomplete digestion.
A tongue cleaner helps you keep your breath fresh by allowing you to scrape off mucous and debris from the tongue. You will be surprised by the coating you can easily remove with this simple device. It's the first line of defense against halitosis or bad breath, various tongue diseases and gum diseases. It also improves the sense of taste as the debris is removed and helps improve digestion by cleaning the ama (toxin) buildup from the tongue.
For centuries copper was well-known for its anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Use the cleaner twice a day preferably in the morning and before going to bed after brushing and flossing your teeth. The copper tongue cleaner is designed to clean the tongue in one smooth, easy stroke removing mucous and oral debris efficiently and easily.
How to use it?
Simply hold the tongue cleaner firmly by both hands, holding one end in each hand. Open your mouth and extend your tongue as far out as comfortable. Firmly but gently scrape the tongue with the flat center part of the scraper in one smooth stroke from back to front. Repeat if necessary. Wash the tongue cleaner before repeating.
Caution Do not use if your tongue has ulcers, open sores, bumps or thrush
Always read the label and use as directed. Supplementary to a balanced diet. If symptoms persist see your healthcare professional. If pregnant take under the guidance of your healthcare professional.
